Admissions Process

Admissions Process

It is important to us that every child is provided with the best possible environment to help them grow to their full potential. Following are the steps we take to determine if Foundations is the best solution for your child’s needs:

STEP 1 – Initial phone consultation

The first step is an initial phone consultation with our Admissions Director who will answer questions you have about Foundations, as well as discuss the needs of your child with you.

STEP 2 – Schedule a campus tour

The next step is to schedule a tour of our school campus. A member of our staff will show you around our campus and answer all of your questions. You will have the opportunity to walk the halls of our Elementary, Junior High, and High school, as well as see our playground, gym, sports fields, music and dance rooms, lunch program, etc.

STEP 3 – Complete the application and provide required documentation

Shortly after the tour, you will receive an invitation to complete a Student Application. As part of the application process, you will provide information about any prior assessments and testing (IEP, 504, psych/neuro evaluations, etc.).

STEP 4 – Consultation with our Program Director

Once the application process is complete, our Program Director will thoroughly review the information you have provided, and we will schedule a consultation for your child. Potential student consultations typically take 60 to 90 minutes. Your child will work with our Program Director, experience a Foundations classroom, and will meet Foundations staff and current students.

STEP 5 – Enrollment

After completing the above steps, we will get back in touch with you as quickly as possible to let you know if the Foundations program will be beneficial to your child’s development. If we recommend the Foundations program for your child, you will be invited to enroll them for the upcoming school year.
